I like the tofurkey and boca brats and such but I’m looking for more of a hot doggy thing that can be grilled without that rubbery feeling skin. thanks

What do you think? Answer below!

You can probably use any of these, just coat them in olive oil before grilling.
My personal favorite has always been Yves:

The grill shows no mercy. I pan fry and they are fine. Heat ‘n’ thaw in a frying pan, grill briefly for the marks. Veggie dogs don’t have all the fat that meat dogs have so the texture can’t take the extended incineration on the grill. It’s too healthy, so sad!
OK – I love Big Franks (made by Worthinton or Loma Linda, I can’t remember). They are hard to get in a regular supermarket. Try a health food store. There are also some that come frozen, I think by Moringstar Farms. Look in the frozen food isle where you can find the other veggie foods.
I love Zogs dogs!!!! Please post something is you find out. And they have the best fried onions ever!!! Do they put anything on them??
Someone already mentioned it, but I love Yves veggie dogs. You can usually get them in most grocery stores. For some reason I find the ones marked “veggie” dogs instead of the “tofu” dogs are better. You can also get the gourmet versions and chili dogs. I believe some of the gourmet ones aren’t vegan, so make sure to read the label if that’s important to you

Morningstar farms is the best I found.
