At 13 years old, none of the weight calculators are going to be accurate for you. They don’t think about things like age, muscle or body shape. If you feel healthy, take regularly, aren’t tired then you’re probably a healthy weight and you should stop obsessing over it.

at 13 your bmi should be 18, and at 5′ that’s definitely under 100lb so for your age you’re a little overweight, if you were an adult you’d be at the top of the healthy range

110 isn’t underweight until you’re like 5’5 or something like that.

    Hi Leigh Bee,

Body Mass Index (BMI) is the standard used in order to determine whether someone is obese, over, normal or under weight. According to the calculator (which takes into account age and gender) i used your body mass index is 21 which is considered to be a healthy weight for a young female of your age group.

Try the calculator for a more detailed explanation. I’ll give you the conversions because its an Australian Site (110 pounds = 49.8951607 kilograms, 5 ft 0′ = 1.52400 metres). If you would like some further information i have also included some links to quality information about the BMI, diet and nutrition and weight management that may give you a better idea.

At 13 to 14, one of my daughters was a little high on the BMI, but she was also going through her growth spurt. By 15 she was normal and by 17 she was lean and a knock out.

Your at that awkward age, but will grow out of it.
